What makes the TT 25 the current standard

The TT 25 is what Garmin bundles with the 300, 300i and 200 series. It tracks and trains, lights up in your choice of LED colors so you can spot a dog in the dark, and updates its own firmware over Wi-Fi when charging. The flex band is user-replaceable, so a chewed strap is a cheap fix.

If you do not need stimulation, the tracking-only T 20 costs less. If you own an older handheld, the TT 25 still pairs - see the collars page.

Straps, batteries and bundles

Replacement flex bands come in multiple colors, and an extended-battery version exists for longer runs. Collar batteries and charging clips are the usual wear items. Multi-collar bundles are the cheapest way to add dogs to a handheld you already own.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which handhelds does the TT 25 work with?

Current Alpha handhelds - the 200, 200i, 300 and 300i - plus the Pro 550 Plus. It also pairs with the older Alpha 100.

Is the TT 25 band replaceable?

Yes, the flex band is user-replaceable, so a damaged strap does not mean a new collar.

TT 25 or T 20?

The TT 25 trains (stimulation, tone, vibration); the T 20 only tracks. Choose by whether you train with the collar.
